Getting Your Holdem Poker Home Game Started
Once you have bought some poker chips and cards you are ready to start your holdem poker home game. The next step is to invite all your friends over then decide if you are going to play for fun or for money. If you are playing for money (lets say $10 each) you will all pay $10 each into the pot before the game starts.
If you only have 5 players then its best that the top 2 players will win money 1st winning $35 2nd winning $15, if you get up to 9-10 players the pot will be $100 so 1st gets $50 2nd $30 and 3rd $20 but the payout is up to you and your players who are playing. Once everyone has paid then you should share the chips out. The best games you will all start will 10,000 chips each 7 x 1000 chips 4 x 500 7 x 100 6 x 50 chips this will give you all plenty of chips and make the game last more then a few hands.
